Microtech UTX-85 D/E Stonewashed M390 Double Edge Merlot OTF Automatic Knife 232-10MR

The Microtech UTX-85 (15% smaller than an Ultratech or 85% the size) is a compact yet capable double action out-the-front automatic. Based on the popular Ultratech, the more compact size makes for an even more ideal daily carry option. This version has a Merlot anodized aluminum handle and double edge stonewashed M390 blade.

Blade: Equipped with a two-tone stonewashed finish, the double edge M390 blade has clean slicing plain cutting edges and a powerful piercing point. Double action operation is fast, smooth, and reliable. Move the slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: The smooth hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle has chamfered edges for comfort and smooth pocket transitions. Several areas of jimping around the edge add traction for a secure grip. Construction is completed with proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with individual serial number/date of production. 

Carries via a stainless steel pocket clip.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
