The California Legal Exocet is a dual action mini out the front automatic knife from Microtech that’s one of the most friendly for everyday carry. The diminutive size is perfect for watch pocket or even key ring carry. Not only is it perfect for everyday slicing, but it doubles as a handy money clip. This version has a deep red, “Merlot” anodized, contoured aluminum handle and a black coated, partially serrated double edge CTS-204P stainless blade.

Blade: The Exocet is equipped with a sub-2 inch, double edge blade made from premium, American CTS-204P steel. Both edges are partially serrated, with clean slicing plain edges near the point and serrated edges near the handle for tough, fibrous materials. High-end corrosion resistance is further enhanced by the black poly-ceramic Cerakote coating which is also durable and discreetly non-reflective. A double action automatic mechanism delivers fast, smooth operation. Press the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: Smooth, Merlot anodized 6061-T6 aluminum has rounded edges with texturing holds creating not only a comfortable feel in-hand but a smooth transition in and out of your pocket. The bonus widened “money” pocket clip adds a bit of gentleman to this OTF automatic. Ergonomic and contoured, the handle’s construction is completed with Microtech’s proprietary hardware, looped hole end knocker and clip with individual serial number/date of production.
