The Double Edge Combat Troodon out-the-front automatic knife by Microtech is a substantial tool, popular among military, law enforcement and first responders. Like its bird-like dinosaur namesake this Troodon is ready to strike. This version comes with a black Cerakote coated, CTS-204P double edge blade and Orange anodized aluminum handles.

Blade: A wide spear point blade which has been double ground and sharpened to a razor edge on both sides sports dual plain edges delivering the clean cutting performance along the length of both edges. The premium, CTS-204P stainless steel was chosen for its exceptional performance and is finished with a durable black poly-ceramic Cerakote finish. It is engaged via a dual action automatic mechanism. Simply press the side thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. Fast, smooth and reliable.

Handle: Orange anodized 6061-T6 aluminum offers 5.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for even the largest or gloved hands. It has a smooth feel with machined grooves perfectly placed on both outer sides. This version is built with Microtech’s Black proprietary hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip. Each is individually numbered and dated around the Microtech ‘Talon’ logo on the front of the knife.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up only, stainless steel pocket clip.

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, CTS-204P has some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance available. CTS-204P is similar in performance to CPM-20CV and Bohler’s M390.
