The Double Edge Combat Troodon out-the-front automatic knife by Microtech is a substantial tool, popular among military, law enforcement and first responders. Its large size lends itself to situations requiring a more robust cutting tool while remaining slender enough to keep on your person daily. Like its bird-like dinosaur namesake, this Troodon is ready to strike. This version comes with a partially serrated, black Cerakote coated, CTS-204P double edge blade and Merlot anodized aluminum handles.

Blade: A wide spear point blade comes with dual razor sharp partially serrated edges delivering clean slicing paired with aggressive cutting for tough materials on both edges. Finished with a durable black poly-ceramic Cerakote coating, the blade is discreetly non-reflective in use. Double action automatic operation is fast, smooth, and reliable. Press the side thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: Merlot anodized 6061-T6 aluminum offers 5.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for even the largest or gloved hands. It has a smooth feel with machined grooves perfectly placed on both outer sides. Microtech’s black proprietary hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip round out the construction.

CTS-204P: A highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, CTS-204P has some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance available. CTS-204P is similar in performance to CPM-20CV and Bohler’s M390.
