The Arkansas Toothpick is a big dagger in the classic style with a double edge blade and large cross guard that would have been the main competitor against the Bowie knife for most of the 1800s. According to Cold Steel the knife got its name from fictional accounts from European journalists claiming that the rugged folk of the Arkansas lowlands and Mississippi delta used this massive knife to pick their teeth. This modern recreation comes with a satin finished blade, Malaysian Sal wood handle and alligator motif pommel and scabbard fittings.
