Designed by Greg Thomson, creator of the Special Operations Combative Program (SOCP), the Benchmade SOCP is a specialized defensive tool that allows the user to maintain retain the knife in hand while manipulating other objects. This powerful tool has a minimal footprint for lightweight and discreet carry, with an optimized sheath for secure carry and fast deployment. This combo set includes a plain double edge dagger and coated red trainer with black sheath.

Blade: Full tang 440C stainless-steel construction makes the SOCP rugged and low maintenance. Dual plain edges are saber ground for optimal strength and a fine piercing point. Scallops near the ricasso offer traction for added security in use.

Handle: Designed to be very comfortable in hand while also offering superior control, the handle features finger grooves and an end ring. The entire tool has a textured black coating for enhanced corrosion resistance, traction and a non-reflective finish. The trainer is identical to the live blade excepting the blunt, unsharpened “blade” and red coating.

Sheath: Carries via a molded sheath with MOLLE compatible stainless-steel J-Hook clip.

440C Stainless Steel: The basis for many modern steels, AISI 440C offers a good balance of corrosion resistance and edge retention with relative ease of sharpening. Good all around budget stainless steel.
